Bitterballen is a typical Dutch snack name. Popular in countries that have special relations with the Netherlands such as Belgium, Suriname, Dutch Antilles and of course Indonesia. Bitterballen tastes similar to croquettes, but has a round shape.
This food, very similar to croquette, is usually made from beef, or chopped chicken and made ragout. Then it is wrapped using bread flour and fried in hot oil
